A full day’s sightseeing in Delhi. The old city-bustling, packed, atmospheric-will entertain you in the morning with a visit to the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid and the bazaar of Chandni Chowk. The afternoon will be devoted to the wide avenues and broad vistas of the imperial vision of New Delhi, visiting the India Gate cenotaph and seeing Parliament House, the Secretariat building and the President’s House. Evening is free for you and overnight at the hotel.
Morning’s drive leads you to Agra. Even without the incomparable Taj Mahal, Agra would still be a ‘must’ for visitors to India, and the day is spent seeing the sights. Apart from the Taj, there’s the magnificent Agra Fort (another creation of Emperor Akbar) offering gorgeous views from its lofty walls, and the Itmad-ud-Daulah, an exquisite tomb to a Persian adventurer who later became chief minister at Emperor Jehangir’s court, and whose grand-daughter Mumtaz married Shah Jehan. Her tomb is, of course, the Taj Mahal. Evening is free and overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, drive by road to Jaipur, painted pink to welcome Prince Albert in 1853, and pink still. En-route, visit to Fatehpur Sikri and Abhaneri. Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Evening visit to ethnic village for the Rajasthani dinner with local dance and music overnight at the hotel
A full day’s program takes you to nearby Amber in your car, then up to the awesome fortress by elephant. You return to Jaipur and visit the museums, palaces and halls within the City Palace (still a royal residence), the Palace of the Winds, and the Jantar Mantar Observatory, constructed to measure ‘the harmony of the heavens’, a concept dear to Hindus as they believe their fated souls move to its rhythms. Evening is free for the local markets or optional you can enjoy the city view from Nahargarh Fort and can enjoy light and sound show at Amber fort and overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur. Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure
Day we do the sight seeing of Jodhpur which includes the famous Mehrangarh Fort, this majestic and impressive citadel of Mehrangarh dominates the city from the top of a hill at an altitude of 120 meters. Some enclosing walls have a thickness of more than 5 meters and a height of more than 20 meters. The second place is Jaswant Thada, it’s a white marble cenotaph, built in 1899 in memory of the maharaja Jaswant Singh. Portraits of some leaders of Jodhpur are visible inside the monument. Afternoon we drive to Udaipur. En-route, visit to Ranakpur Jain temple. The Chaumukha temple, or Four, is the main temple in the complex and dates back to the 15th century. Built in marble, the temple has 29 halls supported by more than 1,400 pillars, no two of which are alike. Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Full day sightseeing of Udaipur City-Museum, City Palace, Sahelion Ki Bari, cruise on Lake Pichola
After breakfast, drive to Pushkar. Arrive and check-in at the hotel. Pushkar is famous for the Cattle Fair held every year in Oct-Nov, also a Hindu pilgrims place. Afternoon visit to Brahma temple and famous Pushkar Lake Evening is free and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Delhi to catch the international flight.
